First, I read your blog post (link) and still have a few questions. Considering the C00D1197 error could be related to a missing file (link1, link2, link3)  I take it the files never made it to your pc? In Marketplace>downloads, do you remember if the button next to the album name said "In ...

Upon trying to service my brother's Zune 80 I called Zune Support to realize that Zune offered a device trade-in program. When I asked about the cost associated with trading up to a Zune 16 or Zune HD, the support representative told me neither option was currently available. He told me I could pick from the 4, 8, 80, and 120, all ...

That definitely sounds like a database issue on the device. Do you have your Zune filled to capacity? I would try Initialize/formatting your Zune HD again, following the procedures listed in this thread (link), if you haven't already.

Is your Zune80 under a year old? If so, it's still covered under a one year warranty. There wasn't an option to have them send you a return box with shipping labels?

I just got my Zune HD and really am digging it.  So after getting it all setup I plugged it into my Kicker Zune Dock.  It shows that it is powering it, the remote works, but I get no sound.  My Zune 80 works fine.
Any thoughts?
The Zune HD should work with the Kicker speaker dock, a few of the other MVPs ...

I've posted a video of the issue to YouTube, if that will help with diagnostics.  It can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8y-sOLbK0s
The video is marked as private, could you share it publicly?

A few questions and some theories:With all these PC's is everyone sure that they've updated their graphics card and sound card drivers? Below are some basic links. Sorry you had so much trouble. UnZoone was supposed to erase your Zunestore.db and remove the drivers in one fell swoop as opposed to having you hunt all over your windows folders and do everything manually. It's why I recommended it. Glad to hear everything's working though.

The headphones with the Zune HD are also the ones that shipped with the Zune 120 and the flash Zunes. In short, user testing found that most people thought the premium headphones (that shipped with the Zune 80s) were cheaper and lower quality than they really were. As a result the Zune Team chose to leave them out, and sell them as an additional ...

I just purchased a zune HD 32 gig from Best Buy, compared to my iPhone 3GS the screen is incredibly dim. I don't know how the Zune download could mess with a Firefox theme, what version are you running? Also are you sure that trojan warning was for UnZoone and not for your PC in general? Lets hope this update does the trick.

So I went ahead and downloaded it, scanned it with AVG 8.0 (picture), and posted it to my Skydrive (link). Try this link. A quick note, in the event that a new version is released later on, I renamed the file (added the 133) just after I scanned it.

So I've heard some reports that stores are running low on Zune HD quantities, to the point that some who had theirs reserved have been turned away. How about you, any luck buying a Zune HD, if so where?
