this may not be of any help to you, but unless you can change the container from .avi to .mp4, you will have to re-encode the video file. Zune doesn't recognize the .avi container for video.

That error usually means you have already purchased it, and it has been restored to your PC. Are you using someone else's account? If not, I would call Support and see if they can straighten this out for you. 1-877-GET-ZUNE

how much space is on your Zune? Does it give you any other info?

the browser should get you to hotmail pretty easily...lol. Seriously, I would like to see some Windows Live apps ported to Zune.

Most likely not. The movie would be encoded in the iTunes DRM, which is not compatible with Zune. Your best bet would be to burn that iTunes movie to DVD, re-rip it into a format like mp4.

When was the last time your Zune was sync'd with this new computer? This sounds like an issue where Smart Sync was enabled and it removed content that wasn't found locally on your PC. If this is the case, the only way to get that content back is to update your other pc with the latest Zune software, reconnect and re-sync. Once the content is on ...

You should be able to enter in a new credit card through the Zune software. Go to Settings, Account, Edit Billing Options, and then you should see an option to "update credit card expiration date".If that doesn't work, call Support at 1-877-GET-ZUNE and they can do it for you over the phone.

I also received the update by changing my Regional Settings (in Control Panel) to English (Canada).ย To do this, close the Zune software, open Control Panel, go to Regional Settings (in Vista and Win7, not sure about XP), change your language to English (Canada), click OK. Open Zune software (don't be surprised if the Marketplace section disappears ...

Still no go on the update here. I have a black 16GB and have reloaded the firmware. Still can't update to 4.3, it only detects 4.1.

I've owned every single Zune model except for the 32GB zHD (I do have the 16GB zHD).I can tell you that the HD is simply amazing. Sure the storage capacity is not that great, but the 32 is slightly better than the 30 you currently have. The screen is beautiful, the battery life is spectacular (I've only charged it two or three times since Friday ...

This may be going out on a limb, but have you tried installing Service Pack 3 for XP? I know it's not required, but it might make a difference. As for a the 3.1 software, I'm not sure you'd be able to find it, at least not from a first party site like MS or Zune.net, but you can still find it at other places...but I wouldn't trust it. The Download ...

Check your device and see what firmware you have (Settings>About>Zune). If you're at 3.2 then you should be done.

The loading could be due to your distance from your wifi access point. When I browse within a reasonable distance (15-20) feet, I get a pretty good browsing experience. The further away I am, the worse the connection is, and I get lots of time outs.

I'm sure there are some bugs that are going to smashed soon, but really it might be a distance issue. I've used the browser in close proximity to my WiFi access point and everything works (all pages load). If I'm further away, the device has trouble loading pages, and it errors out.

You can use the XNA 3.1 framework to make any kind of apps that you want. If you want official apps from the Marketplace, you will have to wait on MS to update and release new apps/games.Most of the "mobile" apps out there are based on Java, and as far as I know, zHD does not support Java.
