I think is time to start looking for some patterns because it is obviously happening to some (me including) and not to others.  Removing all playlists worked for me, but at times I noticed that my CPU will sky-rocket to 100% and stay there for a about a minute, then drop down to normal state.  Here is what I noticed right now.  - ...

I noticed that my auto-generated playlists were all randomly updating at very frequent intervals (approx every 5 seconds).  I decided to delete all my auto-generated playlists and this dropped the CPU usage from 100% to about a very good 5-10% avg.  Hopefully, this helps.

There is a song that I want to get in last week's playlist for one of the channels I subscribe to.  However, since the channel playlist was updated today, I lost the playlist (and the title of the song I wanted to get).  Anybody know if I can get past channel playlists ?

I am currently at 35GB (6,197 songs) and the Zune software is still perfoming well.  Scrolling from the beginning to the end takes a few seconds.  Anyone with a larger collection ? how is the zune software behaving for larger collections ?

Possibility for future partnership with satellite radio companies (ie. recommended FM radio...sounds crazy doesn't it?  It's not as far out of sight as it may seem)
