Question: if you have an AC adapter, plug your ZuneHD into the AC adapter and attempt to use the browser.Without changing anything else, this is the only configuration I can get the browser to work in while on my FIOS wireless network.

My ZuneHD will only load a page or connect via the Weather application if it is plugged in to an AC adapter (and when plugged in to the PC, but that's not wireless that's using the PC's connection). If not AC-powered, it connects to the wireless network (asking for my WEP key if the connection had been deleted manually). But can't seem to retrieve ...

Let me throw this twist at you guys:My ZuneHD internet connection over FIOS router works IF and ONLY IF I have the Zune plugged in to an AC adapter (or directly to the pc, but that's using the pc's connection). If I unplug the device, it throws the "Can't load requested page" message.Simply having the sync cable connected doesn't do the ...

It means they're working on it. The code bug is probably easy to find and fix, what's not going to be easy, I suspect, is getting something that users can apply to their devices. This is more than likely what's going to take a while to figure out.

Hate to tell you, but this is the very first problem I've had in over two years with my Zune.
The iPoops that my kids have, however, have been the source of constant issues: iTunes won't recognize the device, iTunes won't let them buy anything, the device locks up, iTunes won't recognize the device, the device won't sync, etc. etc. And all with ...

I'm pretty sure the firmware is different between the 1st gen and 2nd gen devices. I know when you write programs (games) for the Zune platform you have to pay attention to which buttons you try to access, because the 2nd gen "reports" more buttons than the first.

Yes, patience grasshopper...
My guess: there's a fix along with a new utility to help you get to your Zune from the pc at a low-level before midnight. Of course, if the pc won't recognize the device on the USB port, this might not be possible...

Re. Album Art: If you right-click the album on the Collection screen, select Find Album Info, and click Next through to finish the update, does that clear things up?

By now you should have Zune Marketplace (ZMP) 2.5 which supports what's called "Sync Groups". A Sync Group can be created to include filters on the music you want to sync.In ZMP, click on Device at the top. On Sync Options select "Let Me Choose" next to Music. Click on Sync Groups in the list on the left. Set up new sync groups ...

How many folders do you have being monitored at the moment?
I assume that when you restart the software, the monitored folder is not listed. Correct?
Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing?

I'll add my opposition to this feature to the chorus. I've had to start limiting the episode count on my subscriptions in order to overcome this.
And although album tracks are different than podcast episodes, philosophically, I'd also lobby for NOT continuing to play the tracks in an album if I've manually selected the track and clicked ...

With the device connected, I used the Erase All Content button on the device settings. That seems to have fixed the problem. Now if only I could figure out how to get only a single episode to play when I select an episode and play it...

Clicking the "play all" button works as expected, however if I choose
an individual episode to play it will still continue on to the next
episode when it is finish, instead of returning to the menu like it use
to. I absolutely HATE HATE HATE this bug. I listen to the newest episode of a particular podcast while falling asleep. Last ...

Each time I sync, certain podcasts appear to have multiple copies of each episode on the device (that is, when looking at the podcast on the device itself). In my collection in ZMP, the episodes are not duplicated. Similarly, if I connect my device and use ZMP to browse the to Podcasts, there are no duplicated episodes listed either.Advice?UPDATE: ...

Your chart will be incredibly skewed towards those who have a problem, since the vast majority of people who don't have a problem will not come to these forums, much less come to view your specific post. For the record, original Zune bought as soon as it came out, no dust problems.

Given that so many people seem to assume that because the board is "full" of posts with problems, the Zune must suck, I thought I'd start posting my positive experiences.I've got an original black 30G Zune. Had it pretty much since they came out (my wife MADE me wait until my actual birtday to open the box). I've also had a Zune Pass ...
