the zune will never be big in canada. this is coming from a zune 80 owner. although i like my zune80 and think its better than the ipod classic,  i only know like 3 friends who actually have a zune and have only seen <10 people using it in public.no one knows what the zune is in canada. this won't change.

i agree. ipod will dominate the market for a looooong time.  its too late for MS

It depends on how much music/videos you have.  I would go with the ipod touch over the zune hd because of much better app support.

I hope after going through all of that you have considered, maybe, alternatives to the zune? I myself own a Zune 80 but have never had any major problems like yours, maybe because all of my 65 GB of music is downloaded (no CDs! ^_^), so I don't have to deal with the media rights and DRM bs.  All my problems stem from the zune software (fixing ...

this is right, ego check your hardrive on your pc, if you buy a "500gb" harddrive, you wont actually get 500gbs of space

Well actually the zune marketplace does sell some asian music, such as stuff from ayumi hamasaki and utada hikaru. But i doubt many people buy from their music from the marketplace... for many reasons hahaha =P

its probably the hard drive,  my zune80 makes a very unoticable noise when it switches songs, and it kinda rumbles too, but i wouldnt say its scratching.. im not sure lol

change your country to the USA, and you will see the marketplace icon in the zune software

but you still should be able to see the marketplace icon on the zune. my friends zune has the marketplace icon..

Try to convert them wmv, and make sure you're in the "video" tab.  Also try to do a search of the movie (top right corner-search bar) and it should show up, give the software some time

Hm yea its sad that so many people are having problems with their zune.  They really have to fix that, but I'm happy cause Ive never had a problem with my zune 80=)

Thats why you should always do it yourself... Do it manually by right click album and select update album art.  It's always better doing it yourself.JUST DO IT!

Maybe the earphones dont fit well in your ears

What kind of headphones are you using? My Zune premium earphones fit perfectly in the jack.
