I'm still surprised this functionality is still on request. This has been on request for over a year now, and there have been many people wanting this.

Great. I'm with the hotspots on each side of the device. I am more of a fan if you make it touch to move to touched location. I think that would be best.

No problem. I use matrix 24/7 it works for the windows sounds too (startup, errors, etc.). If I don't have matrix on, its because I am listening to a true 5.1 with a supported program. You shouldn't really notice a difference if you use the matrix button because the tracks you were playing before in XP were likely not 5.1 tracks.

Yes they do deploy. I've deployed many to my HD, and my system is Vista x64.

well of course your not going to get true 5.1 out of a 2.1 (stereo) track. Stereo tracks are just about 95%+ of anyone's music files. mp3s are guaranteed stereo (unless there is some weird new thing I have not yet learned about) the only 5.1s I currently know of are .dts, .wav(some), and AC3 files. Sure thing. If games support 5.1, you have a sound card that supports it, and speakers that support it, it should still play in 5.1, whether or not the operating system. Its basically whether or not the game/program supports it.have you tried vlc out yet?

Or Microsoft can keep what they are doing, but update the XNA nonsense that is going around so that the community apps through XNA don't restart the device everytime you exit. That is a more simpler win-win

You can not change the background image, just the screen lock image. It is a little false when the zune says change background image. The screen lick is when the device standbys itself, and you have to swipe up on the screen to use it. whatever image you have to swipe up is the "background image"
