2: In Utero is possibly the most artistic and emotionally enthralling album I have ever heard. Uncomparable.

I dug their last album a lot and heard they are putting out a new EP 11/17. I'm really really pumped for this release. I'm hoping the EP will have more songs like Woah Oh on it. That song is sick! The lineup for their headlining tour is pretty amazing too. Just bought tix on www.myspace.com/foreverthesickestkids to see em. Anyone else going to their tour or dig these guys? Post away....

What is all of you guys opinion on there new material. I like it but a lot of people are not feeling it because they say it is not the same without Layne as the lead singer. I agree it is not the same without Layne but is just as good with William DuVall as lead singer.

So I like bands that are pretty heavy but aren't really metal. Things like the Blood Brothers, Converge, Fear Before the March of Flames, and Saetia. I find what's classified as "metal" pretty boring and the bands I do like are classified as "mathcore" usually or some kind of hardcore punk, I've pretty much given up with genres. So does anybody else like this kind of music? What other bands are like this?

If you like Atreyu or Killswitch Engage or whatever please just leave.

Alright, well I know most people probably don't care about this. Actually, most people probably aren't even aware of their existence, but... I was listening to my 3 Doors Down CD (on my Zune of course) and I was thinking about how great it would be to listen to it in 5.1 surround sound. Surround sound music is sold, in the form of SACDs (Super Audio CDs) and DVD-Audio. However, the only album I could find in these formats is Away from the Sun. It seems these formats never really caught on mainly because the average music listener doesn't care about the quality of the audio. I mean really... most of us don't even listen to our music at full CD quality, let alone something like this.

It's just a shame they never released their later albums on DVD-Audio. I know I would've bought them.

My wife pregnant wife was being nastalgic this last weekend when I had poor some shugar on me by def leppard and asked me to get some more onto my zune so we can listen to some of the bettter (at least to us) 80's music. So I told her I would, gota keep the prego wife happy after all, but I came to find that there was none of their albums jsut about. Just a few kariokie albums with a couple of their songs. WTF?
