I know Audiobooks are available from Audible and other sources and stuff, but I would really appreciate seeing Audiobooks implemented into the Zune Marketplace and available for purchase from Zune itself; instead of going through third-party software. Having a separate category for audiobooks on the Zune device itself would be extremely convenient also.

Sonos Support for ZunePass

Please enable ZunePass to stream through Sonos. The Sonos system is the best home audio system and already supports Sirius, Rhapsody and Napster. Please add ZunePass to the list. I can't afford to subscribe to another service! I know I can stream the content though my PC but I want the full Smart DJ functionality, etc.

It shouldn't be necessary to point out that its a lyrics search.

Also the Zune 360 integration should pretty much recreate the entire zune PC interface experience on the living room screen.

Its also piss poor that the entire Beatles and Led Zepplin collection are not already in the Zune collection. MS should do what ever is necessary to make this happen, not having this makes unnecessarily makes the RIAA and MPAA and other crank groups like that look like they've got some legitimacy, just take the mojo away from those unworthy fools.

I want to suggest to the the 360 people that they also sell the avatar clothing for mail order but the sponsorship minded morons that MS must have hired from AOL no longer let me express there. Its pretty funny watching the execs who are hard wired into trying to bring on another dot com bubble think they can go from the totally predictable failure of dynamic ad feed in games to just plain interupting people during the game in a forced or so called natural game break. If their natural break occurs when someone has pressed pause to go take a piss or get a drink well they will be in the other room so they won't be paying attention to the stupid ad. If they are dumb enough to think they can interupt fire fights and other such matters of extreme importance to the coming play based economy, well they should try interupting people during sex. And by play based economy I mean we get paid to play and we never pay to play.

I know it's probably been posted numerous times, but I want to make sure MSFT is listening. I WANT THE NEW STAR TREK AND ALL THE STAR WARS MOVIES AVAILABLE!!! I mean, how can you have a serious movie library without them? I'm in the process if switching from my iDont to my new Zune HD and would be estatic to wake up one day to see Star Trek and Star Wars on both. Just saying. As I said before, I'm sure I'm not the first. Please don't make me spam you guys. Pop-out Player Suggestions

I've been digging the zune pop-out player in the marketplace. Very nice - like a super-light weight install of the zune software. With that in mind, a few quick suggestions for minor upgrades. :-)

- Do some usability testing on a netbook. For me, at least, the key is the samll screen size. The player could be smaller and still show most of what it needs to (other than the nice long list of now-playing that you currently have).

- Make it a SL3 installable app - so I can queue up a large playlist, then shut down or whatever, and then just pop-up the player from my start menu...

Lady Gaga's Paparazzi music video has been out for months, but it's still not available on Zune. =/ I posted a request for it in July, but it didn't seem to do any good.
Can you please add the music video? I'm sure it would get a lot of downloads seeing as she's one of the hottest artists out there right now...

Add .Net accounts to the zune pass

I know this topic has been discussed several times before, but I would like to bring this up again.

As more people in my family are making the switch from iPod to Zune, I would love to have the Zune Pass usable by multiple .Net accounts to keep the integrity of each zune card. I thought this had been added in the 4.0 update, but apparently I was mistaken.

I would like to see something on the Zune Marketplace wherein if we buy or rent a movie, we get all the extras that we would normally get on a DVD - deleted scenes, outtakes, behind the scenes, commentaries, artwork, closed captions, alternate language tracks. That would be awesome. Even more awesome would be if we could take the multilanguage/closed captions with us on the Zune itself.

Marketplace Error on what can be download

I listen to quite a bit of Electronic music. It's a bit disappointing to see how much stuff is not available for download. But then I come across this glitch/error and it makes me think exactly how much of the stuff that is not available for download, CAN be downloaded.

For example, go to the artist page for Gabriel & Dresden. Show all albums, not just available. You'll notice the album Bloom from 2004 is not available for download.

Ok, now go to the artist page for Andain. What what do we have here, we are given the option to download the Bloom album entirely. The only difference between the two is that one that has the music label on it is downloadable whereas the other is label-less.

So what the heck is going on. Is the electronic genre just being shafted here or what. I'll let my subscription expire this time around if this is how poorly the marketplace is being runned.

I would imagine that Microsoft receives its fair share of angry emails, phone calls, posts in the forums regarding this topic. Actually I sincerely hope that the do get flooded with them so that maybe they will change this ridiculous policy regarding music that people PURCHASE (ie. buy with their own money).

I don't understand how not having a system in place that flags music that people have purchased through their accounts to redownload them if they have to reformat for whatever reason couldn't have been something that your marketing and legal teams wouldn't have foreseen as a potential issue. I mean, other companies do it with some level of success already, and have been doing it for years.

Let me give you a prime example of a company who's done it right. Any PC gamer should know who Valve Corporation is, and those of you who don't know, you can visit www.steampowered.com to find out about who they are. They have this beautiful application called Steam that you can purchase digital, copyright protected PC games for retail price, through the account that you create and download them to your computer. There are no limits to how many times you can restore, redownload, re-insert-synonym-for-re-acquiring-here, software that you've purchased through their system, through your account. The software you purchase is licensed to you for an indefinite amount of time with no hang ups or issues, so that in case something happens to whatever you have your purchase stored on, you can still obtain your purchase without having to jump through hoops.

I am posting this here and today because recently i reformatted my computer recently and went to redownload some of the music that I have purchased through the Zune software, only to find out that I could not reacquire some of the music that I had purchased because Microsoft will not let you download some music more than once for whatever reasons they have for putting such idiotic blocks into place.

I would have to assume that this model HAS to be in violation of some consumer protection laws and I will definitely be taking steps to find out for certain if they do. If I would have known that this was a potential issue, I would have steered clear of the Zune.
