Does anyone else have a playlist of music they listen to in the rain, or while it's raining? I've been compliling one as of late, and I just wanted to know, if I wasn't the only one, what others had...I've got about sixty songs on mine, which makes it one of my shorter playlists (and yet too long to reasonably put up here), so I may or may not be asking such a query in hopes of expansion. XD

A good chunk of my list, however, contains the Garden State soundtrack, as well as a lot of The Killers (which are inexplicably perfect for rainy weather, in my opinion), and Journey.

I'm in a group that paints murals in small towns. One of the other artists in our group has done fire station doors for his last few projects. I was joking with him that he should make a playlist full of "fire" songs that he could listen to while working at the fire station. The more I thought about the idea the more I liked it. I've been looking for some good songs with a sort of action feel to it; like it would be a song played in a fight scene or something.

"Kryptonite" by 3 Doors Down and "Away From the Sun" from 3 Doors Down are a couple of the songs that I think fit this...."Blow Me Away" By Breaking Benjamin is another...but I can't seem to get that one.

Any ideas?

Yeah, yeah, I'm a purist, too, but everyone's got at least one. I don't have many, but I've got two covers of Rhianna's "Umbrella" that I love (by All Time Low and Lillasyster), despite the fact that I hate Rhianna with a passion.

And, I gotta admit, it doesn't compare to the original, and I usually, for some completely unknown reason, dislike when girls sing Beatles songs (it doesn't make any sense, because I'm a girl), but Across the Universe's version of "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" is pretty adorable.
