Zune Marketplace video in iPhone

I am wondering if anyone might have an idea of how I might get a video from the Zune Marketplace on an iPhone. I did a search, but found nothing useful since most seem to be postings of Zune is better than iPhone or the other way around. The deeper problem here is the lack of standards in formats on these devices and licensing in my opinion. I have an iPhone and multiple Xbox 360s, and would like to purchase from one online store and be able to use it on either of the devices. Possible? Wishful thinking?

I spent quite a bit of time trying to find the best software for converting videos to my ZHD. The answer was right under my nose.

Microsoft Expression Encoder 3

This nifty piece of software has presets for ZHD, 360, Silverlight, and a few other MS related video types, and is so easy to use. I hope this will solve a lot of peoples issues regarding viewing videos on their Zune.

I converted a few AVI's and MKV's that had various framerates and sizes, and they all turned out very vivid and clean on the ZHD. Give it a try!

I can't sign in. I have the error code C101A1FC

Ever since I got the new software, I've been unable to sign in. When I sign in and get to the Zune Account Info. page and press next, it tells me that that there may have been a network error. But my internet is fine. And I've tried everything to fix it. Can anyone help?

Playing Videos purchased on XBOX 360 Market Place on your ZUNE ?

It think it is cool that you can play video that was purchased in the ZUNE Marketplace on your XBOX 360. I would be more impressed if you could play your XBOX 360 videos on your Zune. I am not sure why you can not, or is it something I am missing?

I was holding down the right side of the pad on my 80 GB Zune, fast forwarding to the end of a two-hour video. I know a Zune is not really mechanical like old tape recorders, so I let it slam up against the end. It froze for a second then went black. No problem I thought – it just went to sleep. I started pressing buttons, swiping the pad with my thumb, etc but nothing seemed to make it light up or bring it back to life. This was not a battery problem, as I had only recently finished charging it. I tried connecting the Zune to my PC with the USB cable thinking that might jar it awake. No dice. Just stayed black and silent.

Now my hands were starting to get a little sweaty. On a lark I thought to try to use the “hard turnoff”. Left button plus down on the pad. I held it for maybe 10 sec. I saw no indication that anything was happening, but didn’t really expect to see anything either. I don’t think you do when doing a hard-turnoff under normal circumstances.

Forced myself to wait a few seconds, then depressed the right-side pause/play button. Didn’t immediately see anything so I started working the pad like mad. Might have been a little anxious at that point.

Finally – with great relief – I saw the power-up Zune logo! Yes!

So, no sure what really happened here, nor what really fixed it. But if you have a similar problem, going through the hard-turnoff, then turn it back on routine might have a chance of fixing it.

Zune HD and shuffle of pictures

I'm developer of software for Zune, which "convert" text to image ( http://www.zunebook ), so, user can read e-books using Zune.

I have a problem with shuffling

My application "gives" suite of image files : 0001.jpg, 0002.jpg ...

When I move it to Zune I have following order

1,2,3,4,6,5,7,9,8,10,11,12,15,14,13,16,20,19,18,17,24,23,22,21,25,26,27,28,29,31,30,48,35,34,33,32,36,37,38,41,40,39,42,43,44,45,46,47,50,49

why and how to solve?

Permission Issue

I'm having trouble logging in. Why i log in on the Zune program it says that I need permission to log in--when i use the parental log in and password (I know it by heart) it says it's not right. But when i use my original email and password it says it works, but after i confirm everything it gives me the c00d error.
But when i log onto the site I try multiple times with the correct info and it says it doesnt work ad after that the page goes to this 500 error thing, Eventually i go to another page and I'm logged in.

tl;dr I have logging in problems--im getting a zune HD and i dont want to lose all my info...HELP!

c00d1353 - permissions issue??

I purchased the Zune HD recently and to say I like the player itself would be an understatement- at the same time, to say I'm aggravated with the Zune application itself, is a HUGE understatement.

I work in IT- I have a pretty good understanding of this sort of thing so after spending hours trying to isolate the problem (the above mentioned error populates no matter what I try.. 'This functionality is not available in your region' - error code C00D1353) and reading the 'recommendations' online about verifying my region (I have, repeatedly, including toggling it to something else then back again), uninstalling/reinstalling, running a repair installation, disabling A/V, and so on, I've come up w the following: if I right click on Zune.exe, and do a 'run as' on my laptop (XP SP3) and run as localadmin? Boom, logged in, no problems whatsoever. I try and do it the normal medium? Error. I've ensured my user acct is a member of the local administrators group, and done all the usual stuff, (even checked dcom config) but to no avail. Anyone who has ANY recommendations would be greatly appreciated. This is ridiculous. And very, very, frustrating.

I refuse to call MS back, as I wasted 2 hours earlier today doing just that, and was basically asked to hold because I'd done every step she was trying to get me to perform, and she proceeded to place me on hold because she got flustered and didnt know what to do or say, then 'conveniently' hung up on me.

NOTE- I cant create a new account on my laptop as much as I'd like to do and try that- this is a work laptop and as such, I have to use this account to log into my work network. That being said, I suppose worst case scenario i can use a batch file to use the 'run as' every time i want to launch Zune, but I really shouldnt have to.

Remember Me option doesn't work - It's pain to enter e-mail ID & password everytime I login to Zune plz help

I am using Zune 4.0.whenever i run zune, it displays my zune tag top right corner with translucent display pic & "Sign In" button activated. if i click on "sign in" why does it ask email ID & password everytime even if i check both "remember my e-mail ID" & "Remember password". what is the use of checking them when i always have to enter the credentials. Also, "Sign In automatically" has no effect when checked. can anyone help with this..its really pain in A** to enter the credentials everytime..(my email id is too big, plus i have to enter @live.com everytime (this is not the case with any other web service yahoo/gmail etc.)..Please help

How to add to library of artists/songs recognised by Zune social?

Many of the artists I listen to are not recognised by Zune. Basically they show as faded in the list of my songplays in social. Is there anyway I can add to the songs and artists recognised by the software?

I have two 80gb Zunes. In the device/music screen,one shows 6,900 songs and the other shows 6,700 songs.

Are they not syncing together? Also alot of songs show no size,so they are not in the Zune. I have to right click and tell it to copy to my collection.

All the songs are downloaded from the same computer. Why,Why,Why? It's a pain to go thru all those song titles and see if they're synced.

One more, I want to buy another Zune. I don't need hd radio or another device that hooks up to the web. Is the 120 worth the money?

So, zune will find all the duplicates in my collection but not allow me to remove them from the harddrive? This cannot be true. With all of the advances in the program, they take away one of the most useful... Freeing up HD space without opening explorer and manually looking for the songs. This makes no sence. Please if there is a work around, or mabey I am just an idiot (well I am but I am usually good with software), let me know.

Zune softare problem - podcasts not behaving

I removed some podcasts from my zune software and the device. The the software continues to download podcasts I've removed. I have tried adding those podcasts back and removing them again, but that didn't work. I manually deleted the podcast files from my hard drive to try to discourage the software, but that also didn't work. Help please! There are four or five podcasts downloading that I am not subscribed to and I don't know what else to do.

HD Radio speaker dock?

Is there a speaker dock available from anyone that will allow me to use my Zune (16 HD) to play my Zune HD radio at home without using the headphones so that my Zune functions as a small home system? I know there are speaker docks that will playback the downloads but i would also like to use the HD radio through a speaker dock

when i try and download music the marketplace is telling me i'm out of storage space, why is that? i know i have a lot more then half of my storage space on my zune left. also when i loaded the zune program to my dads computer it won't let me look at any of the pictures i have on my zune on the computer. it shows i have them but they are just grey squares.
