Making Your ThreadIf you do not find what you need trying the solutions above, post a thread, be as detailed as possible. Please, utilize the English language! This means using proper grammar and punctuation. Helpful details you should post include
- Zune Model (4, 8, 30, 80 GB)
- Zune Firmware - Found my going to Settings > About > Device on your Zune)
- Computer Specs - These can usually be found on the sticker on the front of your computer if it was built by a manufacture like Dell, HP, Sony, etc. If not, go to the Start menu and right click My Computer (Computer on Vista) and select Properties. On XP, post everything the right of "Manufactured and supported by:". On Vista, post the processor and RAM.
- Operating System - Window XP Home, Windows XP Professional, Windows Vista Home Premium, etc, be very specific, this can be found following the directions above.
- Screenshots - Pictures speak a 1,000 words
- What you are trying to accomplish
- Programs you are using
- Original filetype you are trying to convert, this includes the format (AVI, DivX, WMV, VOB, Xvid, etc), the resolution (720x480, 640x480, 640x360, etc), frames per second (FPS), bit rate, where you got it, etc
- Format you are trying to convert to - see above for details
Hello, first all all, I have read the stickies and used the search feature and I cannot find an answer to my question. I am using a Zune 80 with the firmware 2.3. My computer specs are Windows Vista Home Premium, my processor is an Intel Core 2 Duo e6320 1.86Ghz, and I have 2GB of RAM. I am trying to use Windows Media Encoder to convert a 720x480 AVI to a 4:3 WMV for my Zune. Thanks.
