Using Zune 80 with old software? Will it work with zune 1.0?!

I want to use a zune 80 with old software like zune 1.0 because zune 2.0 won't download properly for me? Will this work

No, you can't. Zune 4, 8, and 80 devices can only use the new software. The Zune 30 is the only Zune that has a choice.
