Special Characters no longer appearing correctly on the website
Recently I noticed certain special characters such as é, ö, and ň are no longer appearing on the website correctly.  They are all replaced by seemingly random ones, such as the letter T, N, or ± and ÷ symbols.  It looks like something was changed with the character set being used.

This seems to happen for artist headers, inside artist bios, and on the Silverlight / Flash Zune cards.  But song titles with the same special characters don't seem to be affected, from what I can tell.

Here are some examples:
- Röyksopp
- Crüxshadows
- <<rinôçérôse>>   (this artist's page is unreachable due to the amount of special characters in their name!  You have to use this link instead in order to get there.)

Thanks!

Corey, I don't see that problem...what browser/OS are you using?

The problem seems to be fixed now. :)  Thanks for looking into it though.  I should have taken a screencap.  I'm using Firefox 3.5.5 with Win 7.

Someone please tell me they did notice this when it was happening, so I know I'm not going crazy. :)

re: Special Characters no longer appearing correctly on the website

So, I can tell you for sure there was no change on the web site; I can imagine something not loading correctly or something not working, but it wasn't like we released something then took it down - the web site has been the same since...I forgot the last day we made a change, but it was more than a few weeks ago.

Do let me know if you see it again though.

He's right, this was happening before. I mentioned it here. gr0mmet saw it too.

And over the next two days, it seemed to fix itself.
