Ever since the patch, I have been unable to sync video podcasts to the zune30. I also seem to have lost regular video, but I don't really care about that. When I select a video podcast series from Marketplace, subscribe to it and download episodes, they will not sync to the Zune. Instead, they pop error C00D11CD. The Zune support page for that error is here; http://www.zune.net/en-US/support/webhelp/C00D11CD.htm?&webhelp_mpver=4.0.740.0&webhelp_id=C00D11CD&webhelp_contextid=0&webhelp_originalid=80004005&webhelp_locale=en-US
The Zune is half empty, I have more than a terrabyte of hard drive space, so space isn't an issue.
In the months I've been trying to resolve this; I've rebooted, I've reformatted, I've reinitialized. I've removed all the content. I've put all the content back.
When I got the zune, it was on a windows xp32 box, I moved it to a windows vista64 box, and theoretically I'll be upgrade my V64 to Windows 7 sometime this weekend. It was syncing video just fine on the V64 until the patch. (And finding the 64 bit compatible patch...that was a real joy, since the downloader only downloads the 32 bit, which will blow up when you try to install it on a 64 bit system. That was a whole day lost trying to figure out that problem.)
I'm wondering if the new patch just doesn't play well with V64? Gawd knows tons of other stuff doesn't. Is the Zune30 pretty much just abandonware at this point? Am I really going to have to get something from the Ismug Empire to play podcasts?
