Bugs on Bugs

I recently made the jump to Windows 7, along with zune. Windows 7 seems to work pretty solid, and the zune software installation, for me, went smooth. There is, however, a ton of bugs or trips I have encounter with the software. Here is a few to name:

1) If I am running both zune software and the internet, sometimes the computer would just freeze.

2) If I am listening to music with the zune software, and I click on micro-album pic at the bottom center of the screen, most of the time the computer will just freeze up (or my monitor will just shut down and lock up that way).

3) If (and most annoying) I try to use smart DJ, my computer just locks up.

I love my new zune, and I love windows 7. But with the two combine, I have to be absolutely cautious with my actions using Zune software. I have never even experienced the smart DJ program! Is there anyone else experiencing similar problems? Who should I email about this?

What's the specs of your computer and how large is your library? What you're describing is not a problem with the software per-se but with your hardware. Try turning down some of the bling in the Zune software and make sure your graphics drivers are up-to-date

re: Bugs on Bugs

I have probably less than three hundred songs in my library, and my computer is pretty top notch, which makes these problems surprising to me.

Internet = solid

Adobe Master Suite Collection = solid

Fallout 3 = solid

Zune Software = not so solid

I have up to date hardware drivers install. To me, this just doesn't add up right.

That's weird then, it's probably a bad install or the library's database is hosed. I have a few thousand tracks on a 2 year old machine and it runs fine, even with all the tracks on a network location.

I'm assuming all of your tracks are correctly tagged and that you don't have any corrupted files in there somewhere?

I haven't checked, but I haven't had any warning messages of any sort. All of the songs have been from the zune pass 14-day trail download sessions I have been doing, so no outside sources getting mixed in.
