6 months ago i got a new computer and transferred my songs from the old one to the new one. Im getting the what-seems-to-be common DRM error that most other people are having. For me I've only lost my song "licensing" to songs that were singles (mostly from 2008) and were removed once they were available in an album. [for example last year i bought the "Right Now(Na Na Na)" single by Akon, and once the album "Freedom" that contains the same song became available on the Marketplace, the single was removed.] All songs that have that scenario contain the error C00D27E1 or C00D1371, where the same songs obviously work on my old computer. About 70 songs i have relate to this problem and i've tried putting those songs from my old computer to a jump drive and placing them in my new one but not surprisingly the same error came up. I havent yet tried putting the songs onto cd's and uploading them on my new one but if that don't work it would be a waste of time, money, and effort. This problem is about a year old and ive posted this problem before with no help and now its months later and I HOPE it has been resolved. I've been looking on other forums but all i can find is the customer's complaints and nothing from the zune team. If there is anyone out there with the knowledge of telling me how to be able to play and sync the songs I BOUGHT AND SHOULD HAVE ETERNAL RIGHT TO PLAY enlighten me. you would make my day. thank you!
PS.. i bought these songs with zune points, not a zune pass. so noone bring that subject up like last time. :)
