URGENT: Update gone wrong?!?!
I was letting the Zune Software update something on the actual Zune device. My computer froze entirely and needed to be shut down. Before I turned the computer off I unplugged the device and let the computer restart thinking that the program would offer be the update when I opened Zune back up.

Well Zune isn't reading my device & my device has a black screen. When I unplug it the screen stays black. I tried to get it to play and it didn't work. I tried to get something to happen and nothing happened.

What happened and can I fix it?

Try resetting your device completely (clearing all firmware and content) by following the instructions on this page.  If you own an older Zune device (30/4/8/16/80/120), look under the header that says "Formatting and reinitializing your Zune30/4/8/16/80/120 Devices", and use the Initialize Disk method for whichever device you own.

Hope that gets it working again so you can re-install the firmware!
