Zune HD firmware 4.3!

Zune HD firmware update: Today we released the v4.3 firmware update for Zune HD players; this update adds support for upcoming 3d games and applications, as well as an auto-suggest feature for better text input, and other minor improvements.  Enjoy!

 

 

Update:

 

On Friday at we posted the 4.3 firmware update for both the 32GB and 16GB Zune HD. It appeared as if 16GB device owners were being denied the release over the weekend.  When in actuality, it wasn’t available to some users due to URL caching issues in our system.  The issue has been resolved.

Cool...I was just wondering about the lack of "buzz" since the initial launch.  Just applied the update, here goes.....

Installing now.  Will be interested if it picks up my plays from the gym today, pre-update.  1208 plays before update..

Does it fix the play count bug?

The browser is a LOT snappier now, good job on that at least.

Where did you find the update?  I'm looking on Microsoft site and can't find it...Did you go through Zune app with your HD connected to your PC?

It's not the PC software you need to update, it's the device's firmware... which the PC software can update when docked.  The play count bug is fixed, FYI.

Hmm pluged in my Zune HD, went to settings, device, clicked on update. It said searching for updates, then it said latest version already installed 4.1. Lol whats wrong? i tried updating the pc software too and nothing so pretty disappointing.

Definitely looking forward to the update!

Zune software is telling me that my device is up-to-date with 4.1, so it must be on some kind of roll out.  That or my computer hasn't gotten the memo yet.
