Will marketplace carry WWE content? any chance of WWE DVD's, tv shows, etc being available on a WWE channel?

Would love it if WWE had their own channel like TNA.

If Zune would stream PPV's live, I'd happily buy them on Xbox Live through Zune for the $40 a pop, rather than through comcast.

Any chances of either of these?

Thanks!

Although I'm not a fan of wrestling like I used to be when I was  a kid (man is Hulk Hogan desperate these days!), I looked at iTunes and they also do not carry any WWE programming (surprised at that).  Someone needs to contact Vince McMahon over in Greenwich, Connecticut and figure out some way for both WWE and Zune to make some money.  That 12-35 male demographic is prime for profit potential is Zune can figure out some distribution agreement.  Considering how huge the WWE is (and let's not forget the movie deals they got in the works), you would figure this would have happened a long time ago.

Smackdown and Raw are obvious as far as television content is concerned, but you bring up an interesting concept of also allowing the zune marketplace to work together with pay-per-view content providers to allow for that content to be viewed on the zune.  The only question is how.  The only suggestion I have is that the content would have to be purchased after the fact (after the event has already occurred), because as it stands there is no way the zune can stream live content.  However, with most die hard wrestling fans, even if you don't watch the pay-per-view event, you're going to know the results the next day (either by checking out the results online or seeing it on Monday Night Raw).

Thanks for passing it along!

Nobody else does it  -- so I thought it would be a great new thing for Zune, to go after that PPV market and offer a new option on this.

I dont have cable and dont want cable, but I'd still order WWE or UFC ppv's.  If I could order them live through the Zune player to watch on my PC, or live to watch on my Xbox 360 through the new upcomign zune marketplace.. that would be great..   the PPV's are $40-50 a pop usually, so it would be a nice bigger purchase zune could handle, and start moving the zune marketplace on all content platforms towards offering Live On-Demand PPV's.. boxing/ufc/WWE/etc.

I think zune or xbox 360 has old UFC ppv's, like the day after for $45-55. But I'd really want to be able to have it that night.. maybe you could also then do some new things for PPV's.. like tie in the "party system" for watching it online with people via xbox 360.  a real way to get people i nterested in the zune platform, I'd think.  [now, if you could make it so that people could watch online together with the Zune PArty System on xbox 360 (or pc) and can all chip in towards the cost of the PPV.. in some new "online party system", that would definitely be new and cool.

PPV's are expensive.. if I could order it through the zune marketplace on xbox 360, and everyone could then chip into the total cost of the PPV to watch it.. that would really really add some new value and be a huge value proposition for ordering PPVs via xbox live/zune.
