GIVE US A F***ING ANSWER
WE THE CONSUMERS HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS ISSUE FOR LONG ENOUGH. WE WANT A RESPONSE TO THIS ISSUE AND DESERVE ONE. STOP HIDING AND CONFRONT YOUR PROBLEM WITH A RESULT AND SOLUTION TO FIX IT.

the software wont recognize when i plug in the zune the computer does all thats fine. there is not even an icon in the bottom corner of my software displaying the zune icon. im sick of dealing with it to be perfectly honest. ive tried all the crap that everyone put on this forum. the shame of it all is that i really enjoyed the update until i plugged my zune in for the first time....

Can you post links to these threads that people have been helping you through?

Also post your OS and versions of Zune Software, and Hardware UI version.

He doesn't even need that. I can already tell that he needs to update his drivers.

Redirect your Zune drivers under Device Manager to the Zune/drivers folder. Then reboot your machine. It should be fine after that. If it doesn't work, don't get enraged and start destroying things. Call support. Yes, it's usually a good idea to CALL people.

Well, actually, it can vary -

My old desktop only recognizes my Zune when it's connected to a specific USB port -

try connecting it to different ports

-the fact that this happens for me indicates that it's not necessarily a driver problem for him

i tried updating the driver several times and it says the wizard can not find a better match for your hardware than the software you are already running. i tried several different usb ports on my computer in the past. nothing in the forums have helped me....
