Video Rental Nightmare
So I rented the video "Away We Go", rented the HD version for an extra cost, loaded it to my Zune HD, then attempted to play on my TV, with my Zune HD docked via AV doc and an HDMI cable to my HD TV.

Got the error message, "Cannot play on TV due to use rights management error."

When I talked to the customer service, I was told (after being put on hold several times) that my rental could only be watched on the device and not on a TV.

I tried to explain that it makes no sense to pay extra for an HD verison if the only screen you are allowed to watch on is not an HD screen.

At first I was told that it was not possible to get a refund, I asked for a manger and after being put on hold for another 10+ minutes I was finally promised a refund.

Quite a disappointing experience.

That is weak! Why even offer a rental in HD if it can only be played on the Zune? And they wonder why people hate DRM media.

Yeah, I hate DRM media.  I would never purchase DRM media to own.  I thought the rental media would be fine...  Have others rented (HD) content without issues?
