I love the zune hd UI and it would make a great ui for a smartphone. They could use the same casing as the zune hd, same processor and everything. All they would need to do is add a good camera(>4.0mpx) and a cellular Radio. This would deffinately open up zune to a whole lot more people, especially if they weren't exclusive to a network. If they were, though, I'd want verizon(currently own a Samsung Alias 2). I think that they could sell it at the MS Store when they become more wide spread than just Mission Viejo, CA and Scottsdale, AZ. I'm currently in the middle of designing, through Gimp, the UI parts that don't already exist(Phone, Messaging(txt, vid, pix), camera, and Hotmail(IM/Mail/Calendar) client. I'll post up my designs in a few days. As well as feel free to design your own. Wouldn't it be awesome if they could keep it as thin as the zune HD?
