Zune getting fixed..

i sent my zune out to them on 9/27/09 - they said it would be about a 3 week fix all together, ship times and repair and to get shipped back.. its now 11/2/09 - whats going on and why have i not gotten it back yet? UPS said it was never sent back out and the site still says its being fixed...

I'm having the same problem the have a tracking num. but ups as not pick it up its been a week now

I had the same problem, only took a month though. and here's the kicker, they did nothing. It apparently took them a week and a half to send back my Zune without touching it...

i got my zune back 3 days ago.. JUST NOW GETTING IT BACK!! and all they did was send me a new one.. it took them this long to ship me a new zune.. thats kinda sad..

errr i sent my zune to repair about 11/09/2009 it was finished around 11/18 getting a new zune ups tracking number says its waiting signiture but when i track it on mbe.com it says its been shipped and will be here 11/25 iam confused does this mean my zune is still waiting or its coming? 

Well i am having the same problem but even worse mine is a Gears of War 2 edition 120 so does that mean that it is gonna take them six months with their heads up there butts to send it back with nothing done. Microsoft service sucks all my friends had this same problem with their XBOX 360 so it isn't just one department unfortunately i cant go out and get a new one cause i have no money and i want it for ski season...........this really pisses me off 

This is beginning to seem like a common problem.  I shipped my Zune on 11/06/09 and they received it on the 12th, it then took them till the 17th to figure out that they would replace it (I'm sure it didn't take quite that long). I received an email stating that the device had shipped on the 17th.  However, UPS still to this day says it has not shipped.  Well after nearly an hour on the phone with the Zune folks (Angelo)and being told it had shipped, I finally got them to admit that it moved from the repair facility to their sorting facility and that it takes 9 days for them to sort and ship the items received from the repair area, so it will not actually ship until the 27th.  The customer service here is terrible.  I requested a superviser and was put on hold for 10 minutes, and then Angelo came back on and told me that the person I needed to speak with was in a board meeting and couldn't talk with me (more likely afraid of ranting customers). But, even without him I managed to get the truth out of them, and it's really disgusting the way they do things. I will think twice before buying another Microsoft product.

Same thing's happening with me. Glad I'm not the only one. 

I shipped it in late June, and I still haven't gotten it back even though it's late November. Site still says the service is in progress. It's taking them 4 months to diagnose whatever's wrong with my Zune.
