I want to connect WindowsLive to my Xbox but it says I cant because that account is already on Zune. How can I change this?
I can't figure out how to either delete the Zune account entirely or change the SIGN-IN email associated.

You should just be able to sign in to Xbox with your Zune account; they're the same.

Um no. when I attempt to sign in it gives me a message saying : The Windows Liv ID you're trying to use is already associated ith an Xbox LIVE, Games for Windows- LIVE, Or Zune account. Please try another ID.

Is there a way to completely shut down my zune account? I don't exactly use it anymore.

That should only happen if you attempt to use the same email address (Live ID) to create a new account; when you sign in, you should be able to use the Live ID.

You also might try "recover gamertag" if that really isn't working.

There's no way to close a zune account, but you can shut down the entire Live ID at accounts.live.com.
