More competitive pricing

One wish I have is for more competitive pricing for downloads on the Marketplace website.  Most "single CDs./MP3 files" cost 800 credits ($10), but I can purchase that same CD/MP3 files at Amazon.com or Wal-Mart (which work perfectly on my Zune) for typically $1-2 less.  Even most individual songs cost either 79 credits ($0.99 cents) or 99 credits ($1.23/song).  I can't find any other website that charges up to $1.23 per song!

As I have said in another post, I will now be taking my business elsewhere until Microsoft starts making many big improvements, one of which is fixing their expensive, non-competitive pricing.

re: More competitive pricing

I'd like to see prices get a little more competitive too.

Movie rentals are too expensive.  I can go to Redbox on my way home and rent a movie for a buck a day.  I would prefer to stream it from MS for a buck.

Please stop charging for TV shows... I get these for free from the networks website.  At least make TV shows free for ZunePass subscribers.  I might pay for a ZunePass subscription for this.  Feel free to put commercials in the free shows like they do on the network websites.

One thing I would pay for.  Live NFL games!  My home theater is way too good to be watching games at the bar.  Besides, the home team fans usually get hostile when we win.

I'm still going through withdrawal after returning my ZuneHD.  I miss it.  Perhaps I will buy another once some of the issues I brought up in another post are addressed... or at least acknowledged.

re: More competitive pricing

After 11 days, there has only been 1 person who has agreed that Microsoft needs to take another look at their pricing!?!  I can't believe that everyone in Zuneland wants to pay $10.00 per album (800 credits) and up to $1.23 per song (99 credits).  This is soooo expensive considering there are multiple online websites, such as Amazon.com and Walmart.com, that are much cheaper and provider a better quality product.

Let's go Microsoft!  You have better software than Amazon.com and Walmart.com, but they are crushing you on pricing and quality.
