Can't Sync - Error C00D2767

"Running this process under a debugger while using DRM content isn't allowed."

Anyone else have this issue, or might have a solution? Would it have anythig to do with Windows Media Center, or synced Windows Mobile phone?

Nope...it only shows up if you are running with a debugger.  Do you have something unusual in one of your serial / usb ports that shows up as a debugger?

Are you running with the /debug option when launching windows?

re: Can't Sync - Error C00D2767

I have this same error preventing me from playing.  I reinstalled Zune with latest and still the same thing.  Wanted to have some Halloween music to play in office for trick or treat event and could not.

I have no debugger.  No devices.  Just dual core machine running Win 7 RC.

Any other thoughts?

Maybe I should also add that there was music already on my Zune that the software removed and started giving this error as to why I can't get it back on. And I am not running any sort of debugger software.

you both should check windows machine debugger, if it got triggered it is running unless you shut it off in your services...which i seriously doubt.

i suppose it could be the script debugger too.

Ok, I got it figured out. Followed this: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/itprovistaapps/thread/adb8ac71-3306-4a59-9f94-ee4b7e24d119/

Or simply:

Run MSCONFIG
Click the BOOT tab
Click ADVANCED OPTIONS
Uncheck DEBUG under DETECT HAL
Dismiss ADVANCED OPTIONS dialogue by clicking OK
Check MAKE ALL BOOT SETTINGS PERMANENT in MSCONFIG dialogue
Click APPLY
Click YES to warning dialogue
Dismiss MSCONFIG dialogue by clicking OK
RESTART (essential for new boot settings to take effect).

Works fine after that for me. It might also fix the issue I was having with WMC & WMP too, but have to test those seperately.
