Possible To Change The Color of Playlist Images?
Hey,
I don't know if anyone else has this pet peeve, but when I pin my playlists, they show up as a bright pink color, and I was wondering if you can make it an image or a different color. The bright pink really doesn't go well with any of the surrounding colors (the dark purple in Zune software, or the black with white text on the device, combined with the other images in the history, etc.)

Vista is a 64-bit System
Written for a 64-bit processor
Designed for a 256-bit GPU
That doesn't take 1-bit of competition

There isn't a way to change that color at the moment, sorry.

Are you hinting that there will be a way to change it?

Well the power of the people have caused Zune to add a clock, unicode support (to the HD) amongst other things. If enough people wish to change the color (or at least have the ability to), Zune will definitely pay attention.

I'm not saying the bright pink is a bad color, but when used with the other colors of the software it definitely doesn't work in my opinion. It's like a large pink square against a black background, kind of random.


This is what I think is an insanely ugly use of color combinations: Zune Software with playlist pins and history
On the device, it isn't much different. Its the same pink color, but with a black background

Or at least change color as you add more playlists.

(i.e. first playlist is pink, second is blue, third is green, fourth is red, etc)

Owner of a brown Zune 30 and a red Zune 8.

And now a green ZuneHD.

Yes, but if they are going to have different colors, why not just have a sort of "theme", at least? Like: the user can choose to have all of the playlist colors displayed in _________, or something similar.

Yeah, for a few moments I tried to tinker in my Playlists section to see if there was a way for me to add a picture to it that would then represent it when I pin it :( It's not a big deal, of course

Yea, its not a big deal until someone asks why you have giant bright, hot, pink squares on your zune.

I would like just to be able to change the image period- color world be a nice start, but most of my playlists are themed and a custom pic would be perfect.
