Is Zune ever going to offer apps like Ipods do?  I love my Zune but I am seriously considering switching back over to an Ipod because my friends with Ipods get so much more out of their MP3 player.  The HD thing is cool, but hardly comparable.

The Zune 30/4/8/16/80/120 all have the same basic games, Hexic, Space Battle, Sudoku, Checkers, and Texas Hold Em but also have community games and apps available from XNA which you can download but you need to get some software first.

The Zune HD already had games and apps from launch and also support community made apps and games from XNA. The official Zune apps are Calculator and Weather and has the same basic games as the older Zunes as well as Goo Splat and some other games I forget. It's also getting I think 6 new games in November. You can probably expect more apps to go along with those upcoming games.

XNA is something iPod doesn't have and makes it so that anybody can make an app for the Zune HD and it's all free.

The thing with the XNA creators club is that there isn't a single app for the Zune that I can find.  I went through the entire games catalog and not one game for the Zune was to be found.
