zune hd + altec lansing iM414 speaker dock problem

I have the zune hd 32 gb. i can charge it with the iM414 but it simply wont play anything from the zune. yes, the dock is on the zune setting. any suggestions? i heard about a fix, but how accurate is this?

Mine has the same problem. I haven't heard of a fix though.

Instead, I bought the Kicker ZK500 for $114.00 from Zune originals. That thing kicks the Altec Lansing's butt. (No battery power, however.)

The iM414 worked yesterday (day I brought home the HD 32 GB). And now I am having the same issue you are/did. Did you get it resolved?
