New Alice in Chains Album/Material
What is all of you guys opinion on there new material. I like it but a lot of people are not feeling it because they say it is not the same without Layne as the lead singer. I agree it is not the same without Layne but is just as good with William DuVall as lead singer.

I live life by the tune of my own drum

The problem I have with the new stuff is that I haven't heard either Jerry or William really try to sing. The two singles that have come just have the two of them harmonizing for most of the song. I still liked the songs but I am going to buy the album and I am hoping that someone will actully to some lead singing on the other songs.

I think it's really good! but i think jerry cantrell is not as good of a lyrisist as Layne. But it's a great addition. I'm so happy they are making albums again.

I don't think they should call themselves Alice in Chains anymore.  DuVall is a great singer, but he does not have the same forlorn sound that Layne had.

Dirt is probably one of the best grunge albums ever recorded.
