Zune 4.0 toolbar does not work
After trying for hours to get 4.0 installed (on all 3 of my computers), after so many inane installation errors (not mine, but Microsoft's) , I finally got it; but the Zune toolbar doesn't work. I right-clicked on my taskbar and enabled the Zune toolbar and I went into the general settings in the software to ensure that toolbar functionality was on; but it just won't work. Help please?

So it doesn't show up in the taskbar when you minimize the player?

Yup start the Zune software, make sure Zune is enabled on toolbars, and minimize Zune software. Then it should pop up on the taskbar.

Yeah, I did all that, but it still doesn't work on my desktop, nor my laptops.

Something is wrong with your systems then...because it works for everyone I've checked with.

Are you sure that you're just not noticing it?  Start a song up...make sure you've enabled it in the toolbars section on the taskbar...and then minimize. You should see the play button looking extremely white...the rest of it is nearly transparent.

Yes, I did all of that, but it remains in place on the taskbar. Here is a screenshot of what I mean

WMP toolbar works fine, I tried it directly after. I also had music playing; still nothing. After the troubles I had getting it installed in the first place, I'm kind of reluctant to uninstall and then reinstall it.

Having the same problem here.  Zune toolbar worked for a little while then stopped out of the blue.  Vista 64-bit.  Anyone have any ideas?
