Live Messenger on Zune HD

Does anyone know if there are plans for a live messenger app or if the mobile messenger site will work with the Zune HD's browser?

i got the mobile messenger site to work but i gotta say entering text is gona take me a while to learn... i would like to see an app for this too please.

You are correct, it wasn't working last night when I tried it. But having to refresh the page sucks, they really need to make an app. In fact they should port lots of "Live" products over to the Zune HD

I agree, porting over a lot of the Windows Live stuff would be awesome. Especially a Live Messenger App, Live Mail App, and perhaps some sort of Live Writer App would be nice.

Gonna agree with you guys, the live messenger site is just too clunky and it doesn't work always. I tried using it last night and it routinely would tell me it couldn't send a message to someone while I was chatting with them; the interface is pretty bad and hard to work with on a small screen with a virtual keyboard. This needs a real app!

I'd like to see an email application as well, something real basic to read emails (pop/imap/smtp). Or have the office mobile group/windows mobile group port over Office for Zune HD and charge us a few bucks for it - I would pay.

Need a notes application too!!

For mail, I haven't tried my live mail on Hd's browser but gmail looks pretty nice. Just forward your live mail to gmail and make it where you send mail via your live address as well.. No one will notice the change but it looks nice on the browser.. ;) (At least reading.. I haven't spent to much time on it yet.. I just got my HD today.. :P )

heyy yeah i agree too like i now have like 2 days without my MSN Messenger workiin on my ZUNE HD and plus the browser is kinda gay cuz u can not play the youtube videos aand itz also the web browser 6 they should have the 7th ... i agreee with having a LIVE MESSENGER APP .. and also making the web browser newer
and sometimes the MSN Messenger does not work at nights

Just trying to do my part to get the Windows live features and/or calendars and contacts added to the ZHD. FYI Window Live Mail works well on the ZHD. A spell checker would be nice and a way to review and edit a longer email would be nice, like a some scroll keys or something.
