only 4 restores per song is an outrage!!!!

I have spent hundreds of dollars on the marketplace in music and music videos and now that i have had a few computer problems i have lost over half of my library!!! due to the fact i have reached the maximum number of downloads!!!! this is retarted and a theft by zune marketplace!!!! i will be boycotting zune market place from here on out!!! i will no longer purchase music from them!!! its a real shame becuase i love my zune and hate ipod, but now i might have to switch to the dark side!!!! Ipod here i come!!!

How is 4 restores per song an outrage? It sounds like you had ONE computer problem, meaning you should only be on your SECOND download, unless you had problems in the past. You should store them better. Example: all of my music is on an external HDD and backed up on an internal one. If you're screaming and complaining here because you want more music free, tough. Once you download it, YOU are responsible for its safety and storage. THEY are nice enough to allow it to be redownloaded in the event of EPIC COMPUTER FAIL.

Plus you are in the totally wrong forum.

Are you implying that Apple would replace your lost music? I don't think anyone out there includes that type of support. If you're going to invest in software of any type, you should plan to protect it.

DRMs are part of the hollywood/music bizz scam. As far as I'm concerned I pay for something one time, it's mine for life and there are ways to get that stuff online. Thanks to companies like Disney royalties exist for music and movies for the rest of eternity.
