4.0 Text looks blurry
I installed the 4.0 software on 2 Windows 7 systems (both x86 running the RTM build) and I'm noticing that the text looks blurry to me.  It could be because I run the DPI settings at the medium resolution so its larger than normal.  Is there any chance you're using WPF for the text rendering and it'll look sharper with .NET 4.0?

re: 4.0 Text looks blurry
I have the same problem on Windows 7 Professional x64 with regular DPI and ClearType enabled. Also, the "music videos pictures...." part is what looks worst. I think that might be because it's not nearly as bold as the rest of the text in the interface.

This problem remains at all graphics settings for Zune. I tried all the steps between Basic and Premium.

re: 4.0 Text looks blurry
I'm also running with ClearType enabled and yes, the larger text of "music videos pictures..." looks terrible.  Put that side to side with the large text on this page that says "zune forums" and you can see a world of difference.

Do you also see jagged icons for play / next / previous when hovering over the zune icon in the Windows 7 taskpage?  The pause button most of all looks odd to me - the left bar appears thinner than the right (however under the normal 100% dpi setting they are the same width).

I want to add that I didn't have this complaint with the older Zune software, the text looked just fine at 125% dpi.  Why did that change in 4.0?

The windows 7 thumbnail and tasklist icons look fine to me. That may be a side effect of a higher DPI. But the text in the software itself looks awful and I'm at regular DPI.

Can anyone from the Zune team tell me if this is recognized as an issue?  I'd really like to see this fixed for the next rev of software!
