Pearl Jam - Backspacer registers wrong

I apologize if I'm posting this in the wrong section but I recently purchased the new Pearl Jam cd Backspacer and tried to rip it to my Zune. For some reason, it registers as their self titled album from 2006. I already have that album in my colletion. When I tried to change the cover art and the song titles on the new one I was trying to rip, it ended up replacing the self titled album in my collection.

I had this problem with another cd I was trying to rip to. The first (self titled) Comes With The Fall cd comes up in the software as the second album (The Year Is One) which I already have in my collection. Same results, I changed the titles and it replaced The Year Is One. I haven't found a way to have both cds in my collection.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This is frustrating several users right now, myself included.  How hard can it possibly be to fix this?  I would think that as popular a band as Pearl Jam is, there's got to be a LOT of people who have purchased the album.  Funny how the correct data doesn't show up on the site, eh? I wonder how long it is going to take for someone to fix this.

Backspacer *is* in Find Album Info, and should be linkable:

I don't think that's the issue. The issue is that it registers as the wrong album entirely when you try to rip it. It registers wrong in the Windows Media Player as well.

Hi all,

I'm having issues as well with this new album, it doesn't just register wrong with the album and track names, when I ripped it with win media player, the songs actually are the old songs off of a 2006 album with "world wide suicide" and "life wasted".  What's up with that, I guess I need to return the CD??  I still buy CD's cause it's still the only way (I know of) to get proper quality rather than compressed files otherwise I'd just download it.

More on that, just realized that if you play the CD it plays the correct songs just if you rip it somehow the tracks play the songs from the old album, It's like the CD has both albums on it or something??
