Alright, so I don't know if this will work for you guys, but I was having the same problem a moment ago. I've been syncing my ZuneHD with my PC over and over again in every way possible for the past two hours, trying to get it to let me a song. What I ended up doing is this - Open up your Zune software with your device linked in. Go to the device library, delete the songs you're trying to play, and then re-sync them onto it from your PC library.
Now, I'm going to try and see if I can just highlight and everything in my PC library and resync it without having to actually delete it first - Kind of like forcing it to sync, since hitting the 'Sync all' button doesn't seem to fix this little problem.
Hope that helps, guys
It almost did. I am having a similar issue, but mine was with an external hard drive.
The hard drive died on me and I had all my music from zune pass that I
got from the subscription and that I bought on it. I went through
weeded out the stuff that was not from zune and now all my subscription
music is left on the software, it plays and everything, but when it
comes to syncing does not happen. It says file does not exist. I
realized that the files were listed as being saved on the hard drive
still which is weird because I don't have the hard drive. the songs
still play but I cannot sync. I tried the delete all in the account
settings, then I restored all songs since 2007 and now I am getting
songs that fail or cancel by themselves. Does anyone have any idea what
I can do. also some songs are downloading but still not syncing.
CAN ANYONE HELP ME?? I just want to use my Zune HD!!!
