Will My Zune 30 eletricute me from my stupid incident
Yesterday I got my Zune and headphone underneath some wet gym clothes I had in my backpack. When I got home I forgot about the wet clothes and found my Zune and headphones relatively wet. I then left the Zune and headphones to dry out for the rest of the day. I let them dry for approx. 14 hours after it getting wet. I did not dry it by hair dryer or stick it in rice, I let it sit on a counter for the rest of the night. Today around 7 am I pluged in my charger and connected my Zune to the wall charger, and to be more daring, connected my headphones in the Zune while charging. Its currently charging as I write this, but I am worried and still a little relucktant to use it  after its done charging because of the incident, thinking I will get eletricuted in my ears or my body (I'm injured right now, so i'm a little more catious). Now my question , based on the situation,  is my Zune still safe to use? (I want to at least save the Zune even if I get a Zune HD so I want to know what I did wrong, if I let it dry for too shortof a time period, if I should use my headphones still, any suggestions?)

Probably not, although I wouldn't have plugged it into the wall AND my head at the same time...  I also would have waited longer to let it dry out before recharging it.  Start saving for a zune HD as more than likely the corrosion process was accellerated by charging it before it was completely dry.  While .1 amp can kill you it's got to be in the right spot for that to happen.  Once it's unplugged from the wall, I wouldn't use it for a day or two (and if it's possible I'd open it up and pull out the battery)

No worries about my Zune 30. I think it died already. I unplugged it 24 hours after the initial wetting, and it won't turn on. So I will save my money for a Zune HD.
