re: zune 30gb and 120gb won't connect.

I just bought my zune 120 and the zune software recognizes it for less than 2 seconds and then it disconnects.  The computer recognizes that it's connected, though.  I tried rebooting both my zune and my computer.  I've also tried out the "forget this zune" option on my 30gb, thinking it might make a difference.

I know how you feel. I was desperately trying to connect my 30GB since last night. I restarted my laptop, restarted the new Zune software. I know it says to press the back and up part of the pad to reboot the Zune. Well, I pressed the back and down part and I guess it was another way of resetting the device. It went to black like it was off and without turning it back on, I plugged the sync cable back into my USB port. It FINALLY connected and synced with the new software. I would give it a shot. :)

I tried that and unfortunately it didn't work.  My zune said it was connected but the software never recognized and it disconnected just as quickly. :/ ugh.
