PETITION: Return of device-to-device sharing!
I haven't gotten my Zune HD yet, but people have been noticing that they are missing a feature that has been here since the beginning: device to device sharing.  Who else would like to see it return?

I never thought that one day I would have to sign a petition to get Zune-Zune sharing on my device.  Zune, what happened?  This was the cool factor of the brand.  Please bring it back.

Signed X 2 tried to send a file to a friend on his HD and had a WTF moment. This is how we would share new music and one of the selling points when i spread the good word about the Zune

 

Zune Bring it back please!

This is wrong.  I gotta think seriously now before placing my HD order.  Could be a deal-breaker.  Needless to say, I'll sign the petition.

Was basically the main selling point on the original zune model. Deviating away from the "social/music discovery" is counter productive on microsoft's part.

Sorry, but is this only disabled in the HD? It works on my 4 and 30.

It's on my Zune 120.  Finally, a feature WE have that you don't instead of the other way around.  :)

My Zune 30 is not only still having a good run, but it's now grown up into a Zune 60 running for twice as long of a run..

This was a key feature for me about the Zune... It was one of the key differentiaters of the Zune. I even sold my wife on this before ordering her a Zune 8gb and me a Zune HD. Now I found that it won't work between our 2 devices.

What a bummer!  Sad [:(]
