4.0 software won't sign in

Ok so i needed to get a project done that i'm using the Marketplace for. I see that there is the new update so I say why not. ok rookie mistake. Get the project done then do the update...(I know, I know) Hindsight being 20/20 how long do i have to wait to be able to sign in?

 

And apparently I need to update my usage rights but I can't because I cant sign in. It says my region isn't supported. Hmmm... is that the midwest region of the US or just WI.

Man! I like being me but can I be you for a bit? it looks like fun!

I'm right there with you, I also can't update the firmware on my device.

Same here.

Login on the webpage to my profile (and streaming music) works fine, but not login in the Zune Software 4.0

Same thing here again, I updated it on my wifes laptop and everything went fine for her. Mine also looks different than hers and will not sign in. Same code error, C00D1353

mine won't sign in, either. and i accepted the terms before i updated. and i tried changing my password. i don't know what the problem is?

I just updated on my Win XP SP3 32 bit machine at work and it installed and logged in automatically.  Going to update my laptop (Win 7 7100 64 bit) when I have a chance and update my device as well.

Looks nice...slow on Win XP with crap graphics card though.

Hey look at that! I too can sign in online and stream but local sign in on 4.0 is a no go for launch Houston. Project close to being aborted. Please help me Zuni Wan you're my only hope!

I see now that in the 4.0 software, I can search for artists and stream music but Marketplace > Music & Videos & Apps are not available.  Obviously the Zune team is still bringing everything online.

OT but more disturbing/disappointing is that my local BestBuy is not showing stock on the Zune HD.  BestBuy's in the surrounding area (40+ miles) are though...I will have to call at 10:00 to see what's up.

Edit: the mini player is nice once you disable "always on top"!

Uninstalled & reinstalled...no luck same message. What to do what to do. This is my first major Zune issue. So I'm not too upset but I know those of us who are having the issue would love to take full advantage of every piece of the update.

BTW I love that I can watch my podcasts on any computer with an internet connection and access the songs all from one place.
