Shuffle every thing
Hi i like to just click on a song and have it shuffle through my whole library but i have a lot of comedy and movie sounds tracks that i love to listen to just not when i have it on shuffle, i know how that sounds but is their a way to have then not in the shuffle without deleting them... I have a feeling i am just going to have to make a giant play list :( but maybe not?

yes- a playlist is the solution.  but it's easy if you do it as an autoplaylist.  you set filters for what to include or exclude, and the software populates the playlist automagically...plus, if you make a change later on (add new music for instance) it will update automagically too.

The shuffling on the Zune itself is a little borked.

It shuffles best with a autoplaylist. Also make sure you set the autoplaylist to a higher number of songs. I have one set at 500 songs and then normally shuffle that one on the Zune. There still a lot of repeats and I know I miss some songs all the time. But random is random.

Have you tried playing a certain genre? That works for me.
