Podcasts becoming corrupt at or after download.
I have a black 30g Zune and I listen to a lot of podcasts. I would occasionally have the issue come up where a podcast's MP3 file would become unable to play. When this happened the device would either lock up when I first started to play it, or stop somewhere in the middle of the file.  To get around this I would need to remove the file off of the device using the software, re-download it, and then let the device add it back in.

As time goes by this problem seems to happening more and more. Of the podcasts I downloaded this morning three had this issue. Is there anything that can be done for this?

Are they becoming corrupt only on the device, or are they bad on the PC also?
If only the zune, then it sounds like a disk drive problem.  I would erase and resync your zune, which also reformats the drive.

I believe it is only on the Zune itself. I'll give the reformat option a try. Thanks for the link.
