A Zune's sync is never done...

Whenever I plug my Zune 120 into my PC, it syncs forever. For example right now its alternating between "syncing... 96%"/connected/"syncing... 93%" in a loop but it never seems to be done.

Anyone else notice this?

If this is normal, then it's a pretty worthless sync UI. I don't mind if it wants to update if it notices any little change to my music library - but I would like to know when it's done updating podcasts, albums, etc.

For example, if I'm heading out on the road and my favorite band has a new album. I'd like to add it from ZunePass, sync, and leave. But if it only ever gets as far as 96% then who knows if I'd be missing a few songs from the album.

I hope this sort of issue is fixed in the next software version.

Try running a registry cleaner. I do, and have never had this problem...which doesn't prove anything but sure does suggest it. I have seen claims that this solves the problem 94% of the time (I have no idea how anyone could figure that stat out...)

I use ccleaner (free, available online, and safe) which cleans up temp files, internet junk, etc. on a daily basis but also has a registry cleaner you can run manually. It's generally good to run a cleaner every so often, and always after uninstalling software.
