Getting ready to pull hairs regarding a C00D11CD (C00D1187) error (FIXED)
For the past month I haven't been able to sync music on to my Zune. No mater what I select to upload to the Zune it won't load them. It syncs fine, I can remove files but I can't replace with new files or the originals. I have removed files, done scandisks, have even defraged and cleaned my computer twice, I have rebooted the PC and the Zune twice as well and it still won't upload songs. I'm wondering if it can be fixed by completely deleting all the files on it, or will that not help? I have uninstalled the computer software and I am currently redownloading it and hope that it could be fixed by doing that. I will post back in a few hours when its finshed. Let me know what sugestions you may have on the fix.

re: Getting ready to pull hairs regarding a C00D11CD (C00D1187) error

My PC just did a check a few days ago and it came up clean, no virals or wares. I have McAfee on my laptop.

I just reinstalled the software and still gave me the same error, so I decied to reformat Zune, like stated on the sticky post.  After reboot it still gave me the same error. This time I am going to reinstall the software again and not have the music files be linked in to it and do a complete from scratch setup, thinking maybe the proplem is with zune trying to incorrectly sync up with External HardDrive, even though it plays music just fine from the EHD.(Too much music not enough HD space).Confused [8-)] I hope I can get it working, I will be super P.O.ed if I have to send it in, I have only had it for 6months.

do you have a regristry cleaner? Trust me I have McAfee and alot of things still slip by and it will never know nor tell you untill its too late. Try Advance System Care or whatever other free software you can find on download.com. For me Advance showed me alot of things the McAfee missed.

What I think is something could have gotten into ur regristry and change somethings cause when that happens your in trouble.

re: Getting ready to pull hairs regarding a C00D11CD (C00D1187) error

I hate to double post, but I hate editing to post new information.

I think the problem is that the Zune is not converting the files and thats why they are not being added. If anyone thinks they know who to fix this let me know. I now have nothing on my Zune and really would like to get my music back on please help!
