Kiss
I'm thinking about seeing them on their 35th anniversery tour. Can someone who has seen them tell me if they're worth the expensive tickets?

re: Kiss
They are worth seeing at least once in your life just to witness the spectacle for yourself. I have seen them twice.

According to the press release I got in my email this week they are playing for 2 1/2 hours covering everything on Alive I. That sounds pretty good right there to me.They announced new costumes and new stage set up too. I guess they can make a difference but no show has happened yet so hard to say if they hurt the show in any way. Either way you see a good amount of your money on that stage in the lights, pyro, etc.

The real toss up, for me, would be what they are going to be playing from 'Sonic Boom' and if the album is even any good. Have had feelers out for awhile in radio land too but yet to get anything back. The album drops on October 6 which will probably be late in the process of securing tickets if one was to use that as a factor. It is their first album of original material in along time. It has been over a decade since Psycho Circus and that album wasn't that great, i.m.o. Sadly haven't found the solo stuff, between now and Circus, hasn't been that great either. The best stuff has been from Frehley and he isn't even in the band anymore.

Buckcherry is supposed to be opening. They don't do anything from me but you can factor that in too.

Sorry if that didn't answer your question exactly since reading back it is more of my own self analysis but last time I saw them I had the cheapest seats and was still enjoyable and that was a year or two ago.

Thanks that actually did do a lot to answer my question. Definetely not a big Buckcherry fan, I saw them opening for Motley Crue and they were unimpressive. I didn't know the album dropped October 6th, but I agree in that I want to hear a bit of it before I pay for tickets. I'll see if any singles get released before tickets sell out and make my decision based on that, because the album comes out like 4 days before the date I was looking at. Anyways, much appretiated.
