re: Zune works fine, difficulty with driver.

I have a 30g Zune and it works fine. But when i plug it into the computer(Windows Vista) it is not recognized and the computer and it automatically starts to update/install zune driver. Then it tells me to restart my computer and everytime i do and get back on, the icon that updates/installs the driver comes up again and starts going all by itself. I don't know what to do. I have tried everything on the zune website and it still won't work. I have had this zune for 3 years and it only worked for couple months before it had other issues. That prompted me to send it in and get it fixed. In that time it was being fixed we had gotten a new computer and it never worked since i got it back. Please help. I really want my Zune to work. It's really special to me.

might want to try considering reinstalling the Zune Software on your computer, that should fix your problem, if not, it sounds like your computer might have a problem, if so, you might want to make a full diagnostic of your computer for any bugs

It's definitely my computer. I think i might just need a new one because it won't update anything and it just won't let anything work. Oh well. Thank you for helping though. :)

Check out one of my old posts (http://forums.zune.net/465128/ShowPost.aspx).  Maybe this can help however I have only used this method on XP.
