Number of plays dropped from 6,700+ to 1,755

Hi there,

I closed my Zune software at over 6,700 plays and when I reopened it, the number of plays was down to 1,755. The list of recent songs shows songs grayed out that I cannot playback from the recent list. This is from the same PC, without having added or removed any songs to my collection, without having connected the device to the PC between the time when I closed the Zune software and reopened it. Any clues much appreciated.

You have your usage information set to friends only, so I can't see the issue. Is it still happening? I wonder if it was a server glitch and temporary?

Hi, thanks for asking...

This issue persisted. The play count drop to the lower value was permanent and the play count started increasing again since then. Today I'm at , and counting...

I changed my setting to Everyone so you can see it.

Mine have quit updating all together, My plays have been stuck since Tuesday, not sure if they are having issues

More update problems? Try seeing if you can purchase content of the marketplace form the device itself. If you have that option.
