Restore Issue: Tomas San Miguel - Lezao
I know the current is listed as MP3, and I have WMA, but I wiped the songs off my drive, and tried the restore function.

6 Songs downloaded anyhow, 6 did not. Those that did were save to a new location, in WMA format.

If the new album is MP3, and the permanent license I have is for WMA, how/why did half the album download again?
Where's the other half?
Guess just got lucky??

And... How do I go about getting the MP3 version, if I wanted?

Helkos,

What was the error code that you got on those that did not restore? Was it the same as before and have you tried again and gotten the same error code?

Also, we discussed that you cannot get the MP3 version if you bought the WMA, which was something that I didn't know either and we will look into ways to get that fixed.

Tomas San Miguel ~ Lezao ~ purchased as an album on 04/04/2007 ~ Half the album (6 of 12) won't play anymore cause ZMP thinks I downloaded them too many times. Seriously, what the heck is really going on at ZMP?

Actually, I can still get half the tracks in WMA on Restore. the other half won't download cause ZMP says I've downloaded too many times, which quite frankly is BS. it seems ZMP likes to selectively target certain songs in an album and then your technical support make a generalized randomization of what there error means - with no support or substantiation. I can assure anyone that the other songs were not downloaded numerous times by me, maybe my your technicians, but not by me. Check the IP traffic.

Half the songs download to WMA still, the other half get hit with ZMP's new crutch "c00d135c" which is stupid, cause I know for a fact the songs were not downloaded by me numerous times. This was one the more reliable albums I listened to, then one day half stopped playing. All I could figure is ZMP's Social was bugging my songs ow on too many downloads, and I still bet it is - regardless what you say. It's the only way the songs could been downloaded, and you can't say ZMP's software is not buggy! Remember I got an email telling me there's "issues", which are translated to "bugs".

This is hitting sore spots, cause I know what I've done on this end. ZMP's & their technical support ends, I bet they are the real culprits in destroying my collection of songs. Not just once, but twice! And I a, not allowed to download them again, and your escalation department is too damn lazy to reset my license even just once so I can restore and burn them to backup media. Gets quite annoying after a while.

Even one song that I rarely even played got tagged with that stupid download BS error. Yes, it's getting irritating, and your technical support won't listen once they see that code. You can't tell them nothing, and this song was RARELY EVER PLAYED.
