re: Address Problems

Hey guys. Right, i live n the UK, i bought a Zune80 from Amazon and got it shipped to me here.The zune became faulty and i had to send it to be repaired. I had to register my zune to a U.S. Address so you had somewhere to send/pick up the device from, i used my sister in laws address. Now my warranty has expired, you dont need an address and my xbox360 dashboard has been American since i bought it, i would like the English dash board, but the only way to get it is to change or delete my address info on here, which it seems is impossible, does anyone have a clue what i can do? i have changed my dress details through Windows Live webpage, but obviously i still have this problem. An thanks would be greatly recieved

I take it noone can help with this then? even a message saying you can or cannot would be helpful so i can explore other avenues, i just thought as it's my zune details screwing it all up that i could get the solution here. any thoughts are appreciated, cheers :)

Well i rang Xbox UK and they couldnt help me, apparently changing my country is too difficult. I rang overseas to Zune, they can't do it either, again too difficult....How is changing your address on a website an impossible task?? and this "help" forum wasn't any help. As an MS fanboy, my confidence in MS has taken a bit of a knock.

We do not sell or support the Zune in the UK today; I'm afraid we will not be able to help this scenario.

Thank you for replying, i understnd you offer no support here. I'm cool wit that :) all i want is to have the United States bit changed/removed from my profile :/

If Xbox support couldn't do it, I'm not sure anyone can. The billing system is very complex, and doesn't allow users to change countries (this is a long-standing issue, due to legal and business requirements in different countries).
