Well, guess who's back?

Been running fine up until I started having a hard drive failure, so thought a simple moving my songs to another partition would of been a painless procedure.

Now I'm getting all sore of errors, and songs I had (or recently bought) are going away (again!).

I run Vista x64 SP2 (64 bit) and Zune x64 - version 3.1 (50)


Some error codes are new, rest are old. Every time this happens it makes me wonder why I went with the under-dog (Zune). MY friend says he doesn't have issues with his iPod & iTunes. Guess I'm the glutton; still I have invested in a Zune.


I've only gotten to Madonna today when a new error is telling me the service stopped due to a "temporary server error".



Will reply with the details of song losses. Maybe the Zune Technical Support person can read a forum list when I call in for support, since there's that language barrier and pronunciation issues.

Sometimes I wonder why I did not go with an Apple iPod, as I hear from friends that iTunes does not go around and deleting songs that the consumer has purchased. I am losing more and more songs due to Zune's database!


Now to contact the Zune Technical Support later, and hopefully they can pull up this list, or give me an email to send my lnumerous list of lost songs.

Great, now I got videos that are lost as well!
Gee, why doesn't Zune take it all away. Refund my money I paid on songs, take them all back, and I can afford an iPod and just be done with it already!

I am not happy at all. I'm losing more and more every time I turn my back...

Thanks to samuel316for alerting me about video issues, make me go back to my small video collection to see if those were secure. Zune did it to me there too!

Got transferred to the Escalation Department, and seems I only have half the job done.

They want the songs listed by Error Code, and File Format. Each error code has it's own method of being handled.

Wished my Excel class explained more than just rushing through everything, as Excel could bail me out of this each by exporting parameters and saving reports... I'm going to be bald(er) soon.
